*It is very important as a resident agent to know that
your job is only to accept service of process. Many times when an attorney
gets on the phone, with a potential defendants receptionist, he
is able to intimidate her into giving information on the company that
his client wishes to sue. This is why it is important for the resident
agents staff to be trained not to do this.
**NCP will call/email each client 3 times during the
month when its renewal fees are due. If the renewal fee is not paid,
we send a late notice. If the entity becomes revoked then we send a
revoked notice. We want to make sure your entity stays in good standing
at all times.
*** Some competitors believe that a C corporation is
the best choice for 90% of the situations. That is simply not the case.
The reason they do this is that it is very difficult to train sales
consultants on several different choices of entities because it confuses
the sales consultant and the client. Bottom line is they feel they would
sell less.
**** Some competitors do not want you speaking with
your CPA/attorney. They come across like there is a great secret to
Nevada involving privacy and taxes savings. It is true many professionals
are not familiar with the case law history concerning piercing the corporate
veil in Nevada. However, most would not be misled by any misrepresentation
about things which do not work
.hence youre being told
not to involve them
..for a reason.
